Use ModifyDBParameterGroup
with an AWS SDK or CLI
The following code examples show how to use ModifyDBParameterGroup
.
Action examples are code excerpts from larger programs and must be run in context. You can see this action in context in the following code example:

To modify a DB parameter group
The following
modify-db-parameter-group
example changes the value of theclr enabled
parameter in a DB parameter group. The--apply-immediately
parameter causes the DB parameter group to be modified immediately, instead of waiting until the next maintenance window.aws rds modify-db-parameter-group \ --db-parameter-group-name
test-sqlserver-se-2017
\ --parameters"ParameterName='clr enabled',ParameterValue=1,ApplyMethod=immediate"
Output:
{ "DBParameterGroupName": "test-sqlserver-se-2017" }
