Contains information that allows AppClients to exchange an authorization code for an access token.

## Request body
The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

| **code** | The authorization code received from the authorization endpoint.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 2048.

| **grant\_type** | The grant type for the token. Must be either `authorization_code` or `refresh_token`.

| **app\_client\_id** | The ID of the AppClient.

Pattern: `[a-f0-9]{8}-[a-f0-9]{4}-[a-f0-9]{4}-[a-f0-9]{4}-[a-f0-9]{12}`

| **redirect\_uri** | The redirect URI passed to the authorization endpoint.

| **refresh\_token** | The refresh token received from the initial token request.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 4096.

## Response elements
If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.
The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

| **appfabric\_user\_id** | The ID of the user for the token. This is returned only for requests that use the `authorization_code` grant type.
