enable_application_status_check_suppression

EC2.Client.enable_application_status_check_suppression(**kwargs)

Suppresses application status checks for the specified instances. While suppressed, health checks continue to run but do not affect the instance-level application status. The following rules apply:

  • Maximum 100 instance IDs per request.

  • Use DisableApplicationStatusCheckSuppression to resume normal health check reporting.

  • If you do not specify DurationSeconds, suppression continues indefinitely until you call DisableApplicationStatusCheckSuppression.

Request Syntax

response = client.enable_application_status_check_suppression(
    InstanceIds=[
        'string',
    ],
    DurationSeconds=123,
    ClientToken='string',
    DryRun=True|False
)
Parameters:
  • InstanceIds (list) –

    The IDs of the instances for which to suppress application status checks.

    • (string) –

  • DurationSeconds (integer) – The duration, in seconds, for which to suppress application status checks. If omitted, the application status check is suppressed indefinitely until you call DisableApplicationStatusCheckSuppression.

  • ClientToken (string) –

    Unique, case-sensitive identifier that you provide to ensure the idempotency of the request. For more information, see Ensuring idempotency.

    This field is autopopulated if not provided.

  • DryRun (boolean) – Checks whether you have the required permissions for the operation, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.
