detach_security_profile¶

IoT.Client.detach_security_profile(**kwargs)¶

Note

The IoT Device Defender detect feature will no longer be available to new customers starting August 31, 2026. If you would like to use the detect feature, sign up prior to August 31, 2026. There is no change to IoT Device Defender audit availability.

Disassociates a Device Defender security profile from a thing group or from this account.

Requires permission to access the DetachSecurityProfile action.

Request Syntax

    securityProfileName='string',
    securityProfileTargetArn='string'
)

Parameters:

securityProfileName (string) –
[REQUIRED]

The security profile that is detached.
securityProfileTargetArn (string) –
[REQUIRED]

The ARN of the thing group from which the security profile is detached.
