# ComponentDocumentPhase

The phase to run in a specific workflow in an image build, which define the steps to execute to customize or test the instance.

## Properties

- `name`: [ComponentPhaseName](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-imagebuilder-alpha.ComponentPhaseName.html) (required) — The name of the phase.

- `steps`: [ComponentDocumentStep](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-imagebuilder-alpha.ComponentDocumentStep.html)[] (required) — The list of steps to execute to modify or test the build/test instance.
