# MediaLiveChannelConfigurationProps

Properties for MediaLive Channel Router Input configuration.

Use this when the MediaLive channel already exists and you want to ingest
from one of its outputs immediately.

- Stability: [Experimental](/cdk/api/stability.html)
- Source: [`lib/router-input.ts`](https://github.com/aws/aws-cdk/blob/v2.275.0-alpha.0/packages/@aws-cdk/aws-mediaconnect-alpha/lib/router-input.ts#L800)

## Example

```ts
declare const stack: Stack;
declare const mediaLiveChannel: medialive.IChannel;
const input = new RouterInput(stack, 'ChannelInput', {
  routerInputName: 'channel-input',
  maximumBitrate: Bitrate.mbps(20),
  routingScope: RoutingScope.REGIONAL,
  tier: RouterInputTier.INPUT_20,
  configuration: RouterInputConfiguration.mediaLiveChannel({
    channel: mediaLiveChannel,
    outputName: 'router-ts',
    pipeline: MediaLivePipeline.PIPELINE_0,
  }),
});
```

## Properties

- `channel`: [IChannelRef](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.interfaces.aws_medialive.IChannelRef.html) (required) — The MediaLive channel to use as input.

- `outputName`: string (required) — The name of the individual output (within the channel's MediaConnect Router output group) to connect to this router input — not the name of the output group itself.

- `pipeline`: [MediaLivePipeline](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-mediaconnect-alpha.MediaLivePipeline.html) (required) — The MediaLive pipeline to connect to this router input.

- `sourceTransitDecryption`: [TransitEncryption](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-mediaconnect-alpha.TransitEncryption.html) — Optional transit encryption configuration.

  **Default:** automatic encryption

  Must match the encryption type configured on the
  MediaLive channel's MediaConnect Router output group.
