# RouterInputTier

Tier for a router input.

The tier determines the capacity limits, performance characteristics,
and associated costs. The `maximumBitrate` must fall within the limits of the selected tier.

- Stability: [Experimental](/cdk/api/stability.html)
- Source: [`lib/router-input.ts`](https://github.com/aws/aws-cdk/blob/v2.275.0-alpha.0/packages/@aws-cdk/aws-mediaconnect-alpha/lib/router-input.ts#L224)

## Example

```ts
declare const stack: Stack;
declare const mediaLiveChannel: medialive.IChannel;
declare const transitSecret: Secret; // must hold the same value as the channel's MediaConnectRouterSettings.shared() secret
const input = new RouterInput(stack, 'ChannelInput', {
  routerInputName: 'channel-input',
  maximumBitrate: Bitrate.mbps(20),
  routingScope: RoutingScope.REGIONAL,
  tier: RouterInputTier.INPUT_20,
  configuration: RouterInputConfiguration.mediaLiveChannel({
    channel: mediaLiveChannel,
    outputName: 'router-ts',
    pipeline: MediaLivePipeline.PIPELINE_0,
    sourceTransitDecryption: { secret: transitSecret },
  }),
});
```

## Properties

- `INPUT_100`: [RouterInputTier](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-mediaconnect-alpha.RouterInputTier.html) (static) — Supports a maximum bitrate up to 100 megabits per second.

- `INPUT_20`: [RouterInputTier](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-mediaconnect-alpha.RouterInputTier.html) (static) — Supports a maximum bitrate up to 20 megabits per second.

- `INPUT_50`: [RouterInputTier](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-mediaconnect-alpha.RouterInputTier.html) (static) — Supports a maximum bitrate up to 50 megabits per second.

- `value`: string — The tier string value.

## Methods

- `of(value: string): RouterInputTier // chainable` (static) — Use a custom tier value.

  **Parameters**

  - `value` — The tier string value.

- `toString(): string` — Returns the string value.
