# ISynthesisSession

Represents a single session of synthesis.

Passed into `Construct.synthesize()` methods.

## Properties

- `assembly`: [CloudAssemblyBuilder](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.cx_api.CloudAssemblyBuilder.html) — Cloud assembly builder.

- `outdir`: string — The output directory for this synthesis session.

- `validateOnSynth`: boolean = false — Whether the stack should be validated after synthesis to check for error metadata.
