# CustomEndpointOptions

Configures a custom domain endpoint for the Amazon OpenSearch Service domain.

## Properties

- `certificate`: [ICertificateRef](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.interfaces.aws_certificatemanager.ICertificateRef.html) — The certificate to use.

  **Default:** create a new one

- `domainName`: string (required) — The custom domain name to assign.

- `hostedZone`: [IHostedZone](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.aws_route53.IHostedZone.html) — The hosted zone in Route53 to create the CNAME record in.

  **Default:** do not create a CNAME
