## Properties

- `description`: string — Description for this parameter group.

  **Default:** a CDK generated description

- `engine`: [IEngine](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.aws_rds.IEngine.html) (required) — The database engine for this parameter group.

- `name`: string — The name of this parameter group.

  **Default:** CloudFormation-generated name

- `parameters`: { [key: string]: string } = None — The parameters in this parameter group.

- `removalPolicy`: [RemovalPolicy](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.RemovalPolicy.html) = RemovalPolicy.DESTROY — The CloudFormation policy to apply when the instance is removed from the stack or replaced during an update.
