# InstanceGroupModifyConfigProperty

Modify the size or configurations of an instance group.

## Properties

- `configurations`: [EmrCreateCluster.ConfigurationProperty](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.aws_stepfunctions_tasks.EmrCreateCluster.ConfigurationProperty.html)[] = None — A list of new or modified configurations to apply for an instance group.

- `eC2InstanceIdsToTerminate`: string[] = None — The EC2 InstanceIds to terminate.

  After you terminate the instances, the instance group will not return to its original requested size.

- `instanceCount`: number = None — Target size for the instance group.

- `shrinkPolicy`: [EmrModifyInstanceGroupByName.ShrinkPolicyProperty](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.aws_stepfunctions_tasks.EmrModifyInstanceGroupByName.ShrinkPolicyProperty.html) = None — Policy for customizing shrink operations.
