# StackSteps

Instructions for additional steps that are run at stack level.

## Example

const stackSteps: pipelines.StackSteps = {

## Properties

- `changeSet`: [Step](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.pipelines.Step.html)[] — Steps that execute after stack is prepared but before stack is deployed.

  **Default:** no additional steps

- `post`: [Step](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.pipelines.Step.html)[] — Steps that execute after stack is deployed.

  **Default:** no additional steps

- `pre`: [Step](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.pipelines.Step.html)[] — Steps that execute before stack is prepared.

  **Default:** no additional steps

- `stack`: [Stack](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.Stack.html) (required) — The stack you want the steps to run in.
