# Update a DynamoDB table setting with warm throughput using an AWS SDK
<a name="dynamodb_example_dynamodb_UpdateTableWarmThroughput_section"></a>

The following code examples show how to update a table's warm throughput setting.

#### [ JavaScript ]

**SDK for JavaScript (v3)**
Update warm throughput setting on an existing DynamoDB table using AWS SDK for JavaScript.

```
  tableName,
  tableReadUnits,
  tableWriteUnits,
  gsiName,
  gsiReadUnits,
