## Request Parameters
<a name="API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestParameters"></a>

For information about the parameters that are common to all actions, see [Common Parameters](CommonParameters.md).

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

 ** [conflictDetailLevel](#API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestSyntax) ** <a name="CodeCommit-GetMergeConflicts-request-conflictDetailLevel"></a>
The level of conflict detail to use. If unspecified, the default FILE\$1LEVEL is used, which returns a not-mergeable result if the same file has differences in both branches. If LINE\$1LEVEL is specified, a conflict is considered not mergeable if the same file in both branches has differences on the same line.
Type: String
Valid Values: `FILE_LEVEL | LINE_LEVEL`
Required: No

 ** [conflictResolutionStrategy](#API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestSyntax) ** <a name="CodeCommit-GetMergeConflicts-request-conflictResolutionStrategy"></a>
Specifies which branch to use when resolving conflicts, or whether to attempt automatically merging two versions of a file. The default is NONE, which requires any conflicts to be resolved manually before the merge operation is successful.
Type: String
Valid Values: `NONE | ACCEPT_SOURCE | ACCEPT_DESTINATION | AUTOMERGE`
Required: No

 ** [destinationCommitSpecifier](#API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestSyntax) ** <a name="CodeCommit-GetMergeConflicts-request-destinationCommitSpecifier"></a>
The branch, tag, HEAD, or other fully qualified reference used to identify a commit (for example, a branch name or a full commit ID).
Type: String
Required: Yes

 ** [maxConflictFiles](#API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestSyntax) ** <a name="CodeCommit-GetMergeConflicts-request-maxConflictFiles"></a>
The maximum number of files to include in the output.
Type: Integer
Required: No

 ** [mergeOption](#API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestSyntax) ** <a name="CodeCommit-GetMergeConflicts-request-mergeOption"></a>
The merge option or strategy you want to use to merge the code.
Type: String
Valid Values: `FAST_FORWARD_MERGE | SQUASH_MERGE | THREE_WAY_MERGE`
Required: Yes

 ** [nextToken](#API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestSyntax) ** <a name="CodeCommit-GetMergeConflicts-request-nextToken"></a>
An enumeration token that, when provided in a request, returns the next batch of the results.
Type: String
Required: No

 ** [repositoryName](#API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestSyntax) ** <a name="CodeCommit-GetMergeConflicts-request-repositoryName"></a>
The name of the repository where the pull request was created.
Type: String
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 100.
Pattern: `[\w\.-]+`
Required: Yes

 ** [sourceCommitSpecifier](#API_GetMergeConflicts_RequestSyntax) ** <a name="CodeCommit-GetMergeConflicts-request-sourceCommitSpecifier"></a>
The branch, tag, HEAD, or other fully qualified reference used to identify a commit (for example, a branch name or a full commit ID).
Type: String
Required: Yes
