CreateProjectMembership

Creates a project membership in Amazon DataZone.

Request Syntax

POST /v2/domains/domainIdentifier/projects/projectIdentifier/createMembership HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "designation": "string", "member": { ... } }

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

domainIdentifier

The ID of the Amazon DataZone domain in which project membership is created.

Pattern: ^dzd[-_][a-zA-Z0-9_-]{1,36}$

Required: Yes

projectIdentifier

The ID of the project for which this project membership was created.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9_-]{1,36}$

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

designation

The designation of the project membership.

Type: String

Valid Values: PROJECT_OWNER | PROJECT_CONTRIBUTOR | PROJECT_CATALOG_VIEWER | PROJECT_CATALOG_CONSUMER | PROJECT_CATALOG_STEWARD

Required: Yes

member

The project member whose project membership was created.

Type: Member object

Note: This object is a Union. Only one member of this object can be specified or returned.

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 201
