# UpdateCrawlerSchedule

Updates the schedule of a crawler using a `cron` expression.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

The name of the crawler whose schedule to update.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.  
Pattern: `[\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*`   
Required: Yes

The updated `cron` expression used to specify the schedule (see [Time-Based Schedules for Jobs and Crawlers](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/glue/latest/dg/monitor-data-warehouse-schedule.html). For example, to run something every day at 12:15 UTC, you would specify: `cron(15 12 * * ? *)`.

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.
