Hand-off to AI code companion

A common pattern is to transform with AWS Transform, then use an AI code companion to finalize the application such as Kiro. Use an AI code companion to:

  • Perform post-transformation tasks that AWS Transform recommends

  • Address any runtime errors you encounter as you validate the transformed application

  • Address any styling issues you notice as you validate the transformed application

  • Enhance the modernized application with additional features

Next Steps

After transformation is complete, additional steps may be necessary — such as transformation tasks AWS Transform could not perform, or changes needed for Linux compatibility. AWS Transform provides a next steps markdown file (NextSteps.md) for download which you can use as a prompt to an AI code companion.
