AWS DeepComposer End of Life
Starting September 18, 2025, you can no longer access AWS DeepComposer through the AWS management console or access any models or compositions you have created.
Use the following sections to get answers to commonly asked questions about the AWS DeepComposer end of life.
AWS DeepComposer end of life FAQ
After September 17, 2025, all AWS DeepComposer models and compositions will be deleted from the AWS DeepComposer service and you will not be able to discover or access the AWS DeepComposer service from your AWS console and applications that call the AWS DeepComposer API will no longer work.
You can access AWS DeepComposer models and compositions until September 17, 2025. You will not have access to the AWS DeepComposer console or API after the EOL date, any application that calls on the AWS DeepComposer API will not work, and all data created on AWS DeepComposer will be deleted. If you want to retain any data you created on AWS DeepComposer, you must download it before the EOL date, see Download your AWS DeepComposer models and compositions.
After the EOL date, AWS DeepComposer will delete all resources and data you created within the AWS DeepComposer service. To delete your AWS DeepComposer models and compositions ahead of the EOL date, see Delete your AWS DeepComposer models and compositions.
After September 17, 2025, you will not have access to the AWS DeepComposer console. You can continue using your MIDI-compatible AWS DeepComposer keyboard with a digital audio workstation (DAW) on your personal computer.

Download your AWS DeepComposer models and compositions
The following sections guide you through the process of downloading models and compositions from the AWS DeepComposer.
Note
Only models with status Training complete are available for download.
Download AWS DeepComposer models

Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the AWS DeepComposer console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/deepcomposer/

In the navigation pane, choose Models.

Select the models you want to download, then choose View details.

Select Download model. Your model is downloaded as a
tar.gz
file. -
Repeat steps 2 - 4 for every model you want to download.
Download AWS DeepComposer compositions

Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the AWS DeepComposer console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/deepcomposer/

In the navigation pane, choose Compositions.

Select the compositions you want to download.

For Actions, choose Download as MIDI or Download as MP3.

Repeat steps 2 - 4 for every model you want to download.
Delete your AWS DeepComposer models and compositions
The following sections guide you through the process of deleting remaining AWS DeepComposer models and compositions.
Note
These procedures are optional. The EOL process will delete all resources and data you created within the AWS DeepComposer service.
Delete model entries from the AWS DeepComposer console

Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the AWS DeepComposer console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/deepcomposer/

In the navigation pane, choose Models.

Select the model you want to delete, then choose Delete. In the confirmation pop-up, select Delete or Cancel.

Repeat steps 2 - 4 for every model you want to delete.
Delete compositions from the AWS DeepComposer console

Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the AWS DeepComposer console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/deepcomposer/

In the navigation pane, choose Compositions.

Select the composition you want to delete.

For Actions, choose Delete composition.

Repeat steps 2 - 4 for every composition you want to delete.
