Maintain your Simple AD directory

AWS Directory Service Simple AD will no longer be open to new customers starting July 30, 2026. If you would like to use the service, please sign up prior to July 30, 2026. You can use the AWS Management Console to maintain your Simple AD and complete day-to-day administrative tasks. Ways you can maintain your Simple AD include:

View details about your Simple AD like the DNS name, Directory ID, and directory status.

Restore your Simple AD with snapshots. You can also create snapshot and delete snapshots.

Delete your Simple AD when it is no longer needed.

Tag your directory to organize and manage your directories using key-value pairs.
