DeleteSnapshot

Deletes a directory snapshot.

Request Syntax

{ "SnapshotId": "string" }

Request Parameters

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

SnapshotId

The identifier of the directory snapshot to be deleted.

Type: String

Pattern: ^s-[0-9a-f]{10}$

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

{ "SnapshotId": "string" }

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

SnapshotId

The identifier of the directory snapshot that was deleted.

Type: String

Pattern: ^s-[0-9a-f]{10}$

EntityDoesNotExistException

The specified entity could not be found.
