Release: Elastic Beanstalk Amazon Linux 2 platform updates on December 29, 2022

This release provides new versions for AWS Elastic Beanstalk platforms based on Amazon Linux 2. The release includes security updates. It also includes AMI, ECS based Docker, Go, .NET Core, Node.js, PHP, Python updates, Ruby updates, and introduces a feature that automatically converts Windows line breaks to Unix line breaks in platform hooks text files.

Applied all security updates published in the Amazon Linux Security Center on or before December 12, 2022 to all Amazon Linux 2 platforms.

Component Update

**New!** — automatic conversion of Windows line breaks to Unix line breaks in platform hooks text files

Starting with this release Elastic Beanstalk automatically detects Windows Carriage Return / Line Feed (CRLF) line breaks characters in platform hooks text files and converts them to Linux Line Feed (LF) line break characters. Linux script files that contain Windows CRLF line breaks may generate errors.

Updated Node.js 14 to add support for Node versions 14.21.2.

PHP

Updated PHP 7.4 release to 7.4.33.

This update is a security release.
