The AWS Elemental Live suite of products

This suite includes three products: AWS Elemental Live, AWS Elemental Conductor, and AWS Elemental Statmux. AWS Elemental Live formats live video for delivery to broadcast televisions and streaming to internet-connected devices. AWS Elemental Conductor is a management system for a cluster of AWS Elemental Live nodes. AWS Elemental Statmux is an optional add-on to AWS Elemental Live (working in a Conductor cluster) that lets you create an multi program transport stream (MPTS).

Release notes

These release notes apply to AWS Elemental Live, AWS Elemental Conductor, and AWS Elemental Statmux. Release notes describe new features, resolved issues, and known issues.

    These release notes apply to the current major version of the products. These release notes apply to AWS Elemental Live, AWS Elemental Conductor, and AWS Elemental Statmux.
  2. Consolidated release notes

    These release notes consolidate all supported versions except the current version. These release notes apply to AWS Elemental Live, AWS Elemental Conductor, and AWS Elemental Statmux.

Current user documents

These documents apply to all versions of the AWS Elemental Live suite of products starting with version 2.17 (or version 3.17 for AWS Elemental Conductor).

    Describe the functions that AWS Elemental Live supports and how you can control, configure, and monitor them.
  2. API reference guides

    Describe how to use the web interface and REST API to control, configure, and monitor processing activity.
  3. Install guides

    Describe how to install software on a virtual machine or on qualified hardware. These guides don't apply if you purchased an AWS Elemental appliance.
  4. Upgrade guides

    Describe how to upgrade or downgrade the software on an AWS Elemental appliance, on a VM deployment, and on qualified hardware.
  5. Configuration guides

    Describe how to configure the AWS Elemental Live and AWS Elemental Conductor software.
  6. AWS Elemental Live migration guides

    Describe how to migrate a standalone AWS Elemental Live node from version 2.25.x to version 2.26.0 or higher.
  7. AWS Elemental Conductor Live migration guides

    Describe how to migrate the nodes in an AWS Elemental Conductor Live cluster from version 3.25.x (or 2.25.x for worker nodes) to version 3.26.0 (2.26.0) or higher.
