Remove a spend limit in AWS Settings

The project owner can remove a spend limit in AWS Settings at any time. When you remove a spend limit, AWS will no longer monitor your costs or take any early cost controls on your project. For more information about how spend limits work, see Create a spend limit in AWS Settings.

Remove a spend limit in AWS Settings

To remove a spend limit

  1. Open AWS Settings at https://settings.aws.com.

  2. In the main navigation pane, choose Billing.

  3. In Cost by project, for Spend limit, choose the pencil icon.

  4. Choose Remove limit.

  5. Confirm your choice and choose Remove.

Your spend limit will be removed immediately.
