# SvmEndpoint

An Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP storage virtual machine (SVM) has four endpoints that are used to access data or to manage the SVM using the NetApp ONTAP CLI, REST API, or NetApp CloudManager. They are the `Iscsi`, `Management`, `Nfs`, and `Smb` endpoints.

The file system's DNS name. You can mount your file system using its DNS name.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 16. Maximum length of 275.  
Pattern: `^((fs|fc)i?-[0-9a-f]{8,}\..{4,253})$`

 ** IpAddresses **   <a name="FSx-Type-SvmEndpoint-IpAddresses"></a>
The SVM endpoint's IPv4 addresses.  
Type: Array of strings  
Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 24 items.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 45.
