# TagResource

Assigns one or more tags to a Amazon GameLift Streams resource. Use tags to organize AWS resources for a range of purposes. You can assign tags to the following Amazon GameLift Streams resource types:

The [Amazon Resource Name (ARN)](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/reference-arns.html) of the Amazon GameLift Streams resource that you want to apply tags to.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Pattern: `arn:aws:gameliftstreams:([^: ]*):([0-9]{12}):([^: ]*)`   
Required: Yes

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

A list of tags, in the form of key-value pairs, to assign to the specified Amazon GameLift Streams resource.  
Type: String to string map  
Map Entries: Maximum number of 50 items.  
Key Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Value Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 256.  
Required: Yes
