EnableOrganizationAdminAccount

Designates an AWS account within the organization as your GuardDuty delegated administrator. Only the organization's management account can run this API operation.

Request Syntax

POST /admin/enable HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "adminAccountId": "string" }

URI Request Parameters

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

adminAccountId

The AWS account ID for the organization account to be enabled as a GuardDuty delegated administrator.

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.
