# DeleteCACertificate

Deletes a registered CA certificate.

Requires permission to access the [DeleteCACertificate](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/service-authorization/latest/reference/list_awsiot.html#awsiot-actions-as-permissions) action.

## URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [caCertificateId](#API_DeleteCACertificate_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="iot-DeleteCACertificate-request-uri-certificateId"></a>
The ID of the certificate to delete. (The last part of the certificate ARN contains the certificate ID.)  
Length Constraints: Fixed length of 64.  
Pattern: `(0x)?[a-fA-F0-9]+`   
Required: Yes

The request does not have a request body.
