# DeleteStream

Deletes a stream.

Requires permission to access the [DeleteStream](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/service-authorization/latest/reference/list_awsiot.html#awsiot-actions-as-permissions) action.

## URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [streamId](#API_DeleteStream_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="iot-DeleteStream-request-uri-streamId"></a>
The stream ID.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Pattern: `[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+`   
Required: Yes

The request does not have a request body.
