# TagResource
<a name="API_TagResource"></a>

Adds to or modifies the tags of the given resource. Tags are metadata which can be used to manage a resource.

Requires permission to access the [TagResource](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/service-authorization/latest/reference/list_awsiot.html#awsiot-actions-as-permissions) action.

The ARN of the resource.

Required: Yes
