

# DescribeAttachedFilesConfiguration
<a name="API_DescribeAttachedFilesConfiguration"></a>

Describes the attached files configuration for the specified Amazon Connect instance and attachment scope.

If a custom configuration exists for the specified attachment scope, the custom configuration is returned. If no custom configuration exists, the default configuration values for that attachment scope are returned.

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [AttachmentScope](#API_DescribeAttachedFilesConfiguration_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="connect-DescribeAttachedFilesConfiguration-request-uri-AttachmentScope"></a>
The scope of the attachment. Valid values are `EMAIL`, `CHAT`, `CASE`, and `TASK`.  
Valid Values: `EMAIL | CHAT | CASE | TASK`   
Required: Yes

 ** [InstanceId](#API_DescribeAttachedFilesConfiguration_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="connect-DescribeAttachedFilesConfiguration-request-uri-InstanceId"></a>
The identifier of the Amazon Connect instance. You can [find the instance ID](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/connect/latest/adminguide/find-instance-arn.html) in the Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the instance.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 100.  
Required: Yes
