# DeleteWorkflowStep

Delete a step in a migration workflow. Pause the workflow to delete a running step.

## Request Syntax

## URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [id](#API_DeleteWorkflowStep_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="migrationhuborchestrator-DeleteWorkflowStep-request-uri-id"></a>
The ID of the step you want to delete.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 100.  
Pattern: `[a-zA-Z0-9-]+`   
Required: Yes

 ** [stepGroupId](#API_DeleteWorkflowStep_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="migrationhuborchestrator-DeleteWorkflowStep-request-uri-stepGroupId"></a>
The ID of the step group that contains the step you want to delete.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 100.  
Pattern: `[a-zA-Z0-9-]+`   
Required: Yes

The ID of the migration workflow.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 100.

 ** ThrottlingException **   
The request was denied due to request throttling.  
HTTP Status Code: 429

The input fails to satisfy the constraints specified by an AWS service.
