TagResource
Removes the tags of a given resource. Tags are metadata which can be used to manage a
resource. To tag a resource, the caller account must be the same as the resource’s
OwnerAccountId
. Tagging resources in other accounts is not supported.
Note
AWS Migration Hub Refactor Spaces does not propagate tags to orchestrated resources, such as an environment’s transit gateway.

The request uses the following URI parameters.
- ResourceArn

The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the resource.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.
- Tags

The new or modified tags for the resource.
Type: String to string map
Map Entries: Minimum number of 0 items. Maximum number of 50 items.
Key Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.
Key Pattern:

Value Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 256.
Required: Yes
