# TagResource
<a name="API_TagResource"></a>

Adds one or more key-value tags to a Managed Service for Apache Flink application. Note that the maximum number of application tags includes system tags. The maximum number of user-defined application tags is 50. For more information, see [Using Tagging](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kinesisanalytics/latest/java/how-tagging.html).

## Request Parameters

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

The ARN of the application to assign the tags.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 2048.  
Pattern: `arn:.*`   
Required: Yes

The key-value tags to assign to the application.  
Type: Array of [Tag](API_Tag.md) objects  
Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 200 items.  
Required: Yes

## Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

## Errors
<a name="API_TagResource_Errors"></a>

 ** ConcurrentModificationException **   
Exception thrown as a result of concurrent modifications to an application. This error can be the result of attempting to modify an application without using the current application ID.  
HTTP Status Code: 400

 ** InvalidArgumentException **   
The specified input parameter value is not valid.  
HTTP Status Code: 400

 ** ResourceInUseException **   
The application is not available for this operation.  
HTTP Status Code: 400

 ** ResourceNotFoundException **   
Specified application can't be found.  
HTTP Status Code: 400

 ** TooManyTagsException **   
Application created with too many tags, or too many tags added to an application. Note that the maximum number of application tags includes system tags. The maximum number of user-defined application tags is 50.  
HTTP Status Code: 400
