How to Find the AMS AMIs
- AMS AMI naming convention is:
- customer-ams-<operating system>-<release date>-<version>
- Example: customer-ams-rhel7-2020.03-1
- Only use AMS AMIs that start with customer.
- AMS recommends always using the most recent AMI.
- You can find the most recent AMIs by:
- Viewing the latest AMS CSV file: AMIs CSV file
- In the AMS Console, you can find them on the AMIs page.
- Running this CLI command (027415890775 is the AMS Customer Images Account)
aws ec2 describe-images --owners 027415890775 --filter 'Name=name,Values=*2024.11*' --region us-west-2
