Subscribing to a SaaS private offer in AWS Marketplace

For a software as a service (SaaS) private offer, the configuration options that are available depend on the contract that you might negotiate with the seller.

The Private offer page includes the following panes:

  • Offer name – This is the name that the seller gave your private offer when they created it.

  • Offer details – This pane displays the offer type, the offer summary, which can include the offer ID, the product, the vendor, the offer extended and the offer expiration dates, the list of available offers.

  • Contract options –This pane allows you to choose the duration of the contract and auto-renewal preferences.

  • Pricing details and unit configuration – This pane displays the offer's payment schedule and defining dimensions/units. Dimensions indicate usage measurement, while duration specifies the pricing period (e.g., 5 GB/day for 12 months or $0.01 per user per hour). For contracts, you pay for a predetermined usage amount over the contract duration. For subscriptions, you pay for measured usage at the agreed rate. Pricing for additional usage is also specified here. SaaS subscriptions charge an agreed rate for all usage during the contract period.

  • Total amount – This pane shows the total cost of the offer, the contract currency, and tax details.

    Note

Future-dated private offers are listed as Early renewals. For more information, see Future dated agreements and private offers in AWS Marketplace.

  • Terms and conditions – This is where you can view the license agreement that the seller uploaded for this private offer. This is also where you accept the contract after you have viewed all of the private offer specifications and are ready to enter into the contract.

  • Purchase details – This pane displays the offer ID, offered by, total contract cost, contract duration, total due today, number of units selected, tax details, and purchase order number.

Important

If a section doesn't appear on the Private offer page, then it isn't a negotiated part of the private offer.
