High-level information about a rule group, returned by [ListRuleGroups](API_ListRuleGroups.md). You can use the information provided in the metadata to retrieve and manage a rule group.

The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the rule group.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 256.  
Pattern: `^arn:aws.*`   
Required: No

 ** Name **   <a name="networkfirewall-Type-RuleGroupMetadata-Name"></a>
The descriptive name of the rule group. You can't change the name of a rule group after you create it.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Pattern: `^[a-zA-Z0-9-]+$`   
Required: No

 ** VendorName **   <a name="networkfirewall-Type-RuleGroupMetadata-VendorName"></a>
The name of the AWS Marketplace seller that provides this rule group.  
Type: String  
Required: No
