Synopsis

Calls the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) CreateCapacityReservationDateChangeQuote API operation.

Syntax

New-EC2CapacityReservationDateChangeQuote
-CapacityReservationId <String>
-DryRun <Boolean>
-NewStartDate <DateTime>
-TagSpecification <TagSpecification[]>
-ClientToken <String>
-Select <String>
-Force <SwitchParameter>
-ClientConfig <AmazonEC2Config>

Description

Generates a quote for changing the start date of a future-dated Capacity Reservation that has not yet been delivered. The quote includes the new start date, the resulting commitment end date, and a quote ID. Pass the quote ID to ModifyCapacityReservation to apply the change. The cumulative pushout across all changes is limited to 30 days from the Capacity Reservation's original start date. Quotes are valid for 24 hours, and always expire at least one hour before the start date.

Parameters

-CapacityReservationId <String>
The ID of the Capacity Reservation.
Required?True
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-ClientConfig <AmazonEC2Config>
Amazon.PowerShell.Cmdlets.EC2.AmazonEC2ClientCmdlet.ClientConfig
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-ClientToken <String>
Unique, case-sensitive identifier that you provide to ensure the idempotency of the request. For more information, see Ensure Idempotency.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-DryRun <Boolean>
Checks whether you have the required permissions for the action, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
This parameter overrides confirmation prompts to force the cmdlet to continue its operation. This parameter should always be used with caution.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-NewStartDate <DateTime>
The requested new start date for the Capacity Reservation, in the ISO8601 format in the UTC time zone (YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sssZ). The new start date must be later than the current start date and within the cumulative 30-day pushout limit.
Required?True
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-Select <String>
Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'CapacityReservationModificationQuote'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.EC2.Model.CreateCapacityReservationDateChangeQuoteResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.EC2.Model.CreateCapacityReservationDateChangeQuoteResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-TagSpecification <TagSpecification[]>
The tags to apply to the date change quote. Starting with version 4 of the SDK this property will default to null. If no data for this property is returned from the service the property will also be null. This was changed to improve performance and allow the SDK and caller to distinguish between a property not set or a property being empty to clear out a value. To retain the previous SDK behavior set the AWSConfigs.InitializeCollections static property to true.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
