# Implementation phases for FMEA
<a name="implementation-phases"></a>

Rolling out Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) across your development organization is a six-week process separated into three phases. Each phase builds on the previous one: you start by training teams and establishing tooling, then embed risk analysis into the sprint cycle with a pilot group, and finally scale the process organization-wide with automated integrations and continuous improvement loops.
