UPPER function in Amazon QLDB

In Amazon QLDB, use the UPPER function to convert all lowercase characters to uppercase characters in a given string.

Syntax

UPPER ( string )

Arguments

string

The field name or expression of data type string that the function converts.

Return type

string

Examples

SELECT UPPER('AbCdEfG!@#$') FROM << 0 >> -- 'ABCDEFG!@#$'
