Activity feed - Amazon Quick

Activity feed

The activity feed is your single place to catch what happened across your connected services, such as Slack, Outlook, and your calendar, without opening each app. Amazon Quick reads that activity, enriches it with your knowledge graph (the people, projects, and topics in your work), and surfaces only what is relevant to you. A feed agent processes items from your connected messaging, email, and calendar sources, assigns importance, and suggests actions. The feed is organized into Feed, Calendar, and To-dos tabs.

The feed has these characteristics.

  • Personalized every time: items are ranked by what matters to you, not by what arrived most recently.

  • Burns down as you work: the feed gets smaller as you handle items, not bigger. The goal is an empty feed, not an endless timeline.

  • Does not consume agent hours: using the feed does not consume agent hours. Only scheduled tasks that post results to your feed use agent hours. For plan availability and pricing, see Amazon Quick pricing.

On Home

Your activity feed surfaces directly on the desktop and mobile home page, so the items that need you are the first thing you see. From Home you can open the full feed to review everything in one place.

Feed

The Feed tab shows an aggregated activity stream. Each item shows its source service, an AI-generated summary, an importance level, and suggested actions, including a suggested draft when a reply is appropriate. Related items group into collapsible threads. A density control switches the cards between a comfortable and a compact layout.

Quick assigns one of the following importance levels.

Level Description
Important Requires immediate attention: direct mentions, urgent requests, time-sensitive updates.
Informational Relevant but not immediately actionable: project updates, team announcements.
Low priority Reviewable later: general channel activity and for-your-information messages.

Briefing

Quick on desktop delivers a daily briefing at the top of your activity feed to help you stay on top of your day. The briefing is a curated card that summarizes what you need to know: overnight activity in your connected services, your day plan and calendar, decisions that need your attention, and follow-ups that are due. Choose Show briefing on the card to expand it, or choose the card to open the full briefing view.

  • Delivered through the feed: the briefing appears as a card at the top of your activity feed. You do not need to configure it separately.

  • Updated three times a day: the briefing refreshes in the morning, midday, and afternoon, so it reflects the latest activity, not just what happened overnight.

  • Personalized over time: Quick tailors the briefing based on the topics, people, and projects you engage with.

  • Actionable: suggested actions on the briefing, for example review a draft response, open a document, or start a chat, are the same actions available on individual feed items.

A condensed view of your highest-priority feed items also appears on the chat Home screen, with a link to open the full feed.

Filters and search

Filters are visible by default at the top of the feed. Narrow the feed by label, project, person, or priority, and customize which filters appear for your workflow. A search bar at the top of the feed searches up to seven days of feed activity, so you can locate a specific notification or agent result in seconds. You can also sort the feed, for example ranked, most recent, by project, or by person.

Auto resolve

Quick automatically clears feed items that no longer need you, so your feed stays focused on what is still open. When an item has been handled, such as when you replied to the message elsewhere, the meeting passed, or a newer update supersedes it, Quick resolves it for you. Resolved items collapse behind a Resolved filter, so you can still review what was cleared. You can also give feedback on any item (Not relevant, Already handled, or Something else) to sharpen what surfaces over time.

Catch-up

When you return after being away, the feed offers a catch-up summary: a consolidated view of everything that happened while you were gone, organized by importance level, so you can get up to speed quickly. This summarizes activity across your connected services. For a recap of a single long-running task in a conversation, see the Away From Keyboard (AFK) recap in Working with chat.

Always on

Because Quick runs in the cloud, your feed continues to update while the desktop application is closed and your computer is off. Scheduled tasks, monitoring agents, and background workflows run overnight and post their results to your feed, so anything that happened while you were away is captured and waiting for you. You open your day to a feed and briefing that already reflect what is most important, instead of starting from an empty screen or a backlog to sort through.

Calendar

The Calendar tab shows your day on a time grid, today or tomorrow, alongside a Quick Suggests side panel of AI recommendations tied to your events and free time. Each suggestion is a card you act on, copy, or mark done, and you can start a chat about it. For a free slot, Quick can block focus time directly on your calendar. Other suggestions start a chat with a prefilled prompt, such as preparing for a meeting.

To-dos

The To-dos tab tracks a personal task list alongside the feed. Tasks show due dates and importance, can originate from feed items, and you can create a new task directly.
