Account settings for Amazon Quick Free and Plus accounts

This topic describes how to view and manage account-level settings for Amazon Quick Free and Plus accounts created at aws.com/quick. Account settings include your profile information, account details, and support access.

Note

This section applies to Amazon Quick Free and Plus accounts. If your organization manages Amazon Quick through the AWS Management Console, account settings are managed through your AWS account and IAM Identity Center. For more information, see Administering Amazon Quick.

Accessing account settings

The account settings are located in the Amazon Quick account settings portal, alongside Plan & Billing.

To access account settings
  1. In Amazon Quick, from the navigation bar, choose your username.

  2. Choose Manage account.

  3. In the left navigation of the Manage Account page, choose Plan and billing.

    The settings portal opens in a new browser tab at account.global.app.aws.

  4. In the left navigation of the settings portal, choose My account.

My account

The My account page displays your profile information and account details.

Profile & security

The Profile & security section displays the following information:

  • Name – Your display name. This is the name associated with your AWS Builder ID.

  • Email – Your email address. This is the email associated with your AWS Builder ID.

  • Manage profile & security – Choose this link to open the AWS Builder ID profile management page in a new browser tab. From there, you can update your name, nickname, email, password, multi-factor authentication settings, and privacy preferences.

Note

Your name and email address in Amazon Quick are managed through your AWS Builder ID. To change these details, choose Manage profile & security to open the Builder ID profile page, or choose Edit profile from the Amazon Quick profile menu. Account details

The Account details section displays the following information:

  • Account ID – A unique numeric identifier for your Amazon Quick account. You may need this ID when contacting AWS Support.

  • Copy Account ID – Choose this button to copy your Account ID to the clipboard.

  • Close account – Choose this button to close your Amazon Quick account. For more information, see Account closure and reopening.

Account closure and reopening

You can close your Amazon Quick account at any time. After closure, you have 90 days to reopen it before it is permanently closed and AWS deletes your content.

To close your account
  • Go to Manage accountPlan & BillingMy accountClose account.

To reopen your account, contact AWS Support within the 90-day post-closure period.

Before closing, note the following:

  • All content and resources are permanently deleted after the 90-day post-closure period, including chat history, agents, spaces, automations, and uploaded files.

  • All users lose access immediately.

  • You remain responsible for outstanding charges and will receive a final bill the following month.

Support

To access AWS Support for Amazon Quick:

  • In the left navigation of the settings portal, choose Support.

    The AWS Support portal opens in a new browser tab at support.aws.amazon.com.

From the AWS Support portal, you can:

  • Create a new support case for Amazon Quick.

  • View the status of existing support cases.

  • Access self-service troubleshooting resources.

Tip

You can also access support resources from within Amazon Quick by choosing your username, then choosing Help in the profile menu. The Help submenu includes links to Getting Started guides, Quick Documentation, the Quick Community forum, and How to Videos.
