# DeleteTags

Deletes the specified tags from an SageMaker resource.

To list a resource's tags, use the `ListTags` API. 

**Note**  
When you call this API to delete tags from a hyperparameter tuning job, the deleted tags are not removed from training jobs that the hyperparameter tuning job launched before you called this API.

**Note**  
When you call this API to delete tags from a SageMaker Domain or User Profile, the deleted tags are not removed from Apps that the SageMaker Domain or User Profile launched before you called this API.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the resource whose tags you want to delete.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 256.  
Pattern: `arn:aws[a-z-]*:sagemaker:[a-z0-9-]*:[0-9]{12}:.+`   
Required: Yes

An array or one or more tag keys to delete.  
Type: Array of strings  
Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 50 items.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Pattern: `([\p{L}\p{Z}\p{N}_.:/=+\-@]*)`   
Required: Yes

## Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.
