# DeleteWorkteam

Deletes an existing work team. This operation can't be undone.

The name of the work team to delete.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 63.  
Pattern: `[a-zA-Z0-9](-*[a-zA-Z0-9]){0,62}`   
Required: Yes

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

Returns `true` if the work team was successfully deleted; otherwise, returns `false`.

 You have exceeded an SageMaker resource limit. For example, you might have too many training jobs created.
