Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to Application Auto Scaling.

Aws::ApplicationAutoScaling::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

applicationautoscaling = Aws::ApplicationAutoScaling::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
applicationautoscaling.operation_names
#=> [:delete_scaling_policy, :delete_scheduled_action, :deregister_scalable_target, :describe_scalable_targets, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = applicationautoscaling.delete_scaling_policy(params)

Aws::ApplicationAutoScaling::Errors

Errors returned from Application Auto Scaling are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

begin
  # do stuff
rescue Aws::ApplicationAutoScaling::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by Application Auto Scaling
end
