Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to AWS Auto Scaling Plans.

Aws::AutoScalingPlans::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

autoscalingplans = Aws::AutoScalingPlans::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
autoscalingplans.operation_names
#=> [:create_scaling_plan, :delete_scaling_plan, :describe_scaling_plan_resources, :describe_scaling_plans, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = autoscalingplans.create_scaling_plan(params)

Aws::AutoScalingPlans::Errors

Errors returned from AWS Auto Scaling Plans are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

begin
  # do stuff
rescue Aws::AutoScalingPlans::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by AWS Auto Scaling Plans
end
