Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to Amazon Pinpoint.

Aws::Pinpoint::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

pinpoint = Aws::Pinpoint::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
pinpoint.operation_names
#=> [:create_app, :create_campaign, :create_email_template, :create_export_job, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = pinpoint.create_app(params)

Aws::Pinpoint::Errors

Errors returned from Amazon Pinpoint are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

  # do stuff
rescue Aws::Pinpoint::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by Amazon Pinpoint
end
