Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to Amazon QuickSight.

Aws::QuickSight::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

quicksight = Aws::QuickSight::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
quicksight.operation_names
#=> [:cancel_ingestion, :create_account_customization, :create_analysis, :create_dashboard, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = quicksight.cancel_ingestion(params)

Aws::QuickSight::Errors

Errors returned from Amazon QuickSight are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

begin
  # do stuff
rescue Aws::QuickSight::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by Amazon QuickSight
end
