AmazonEC2Client.DeleteVolume Method (DeleteVolumeRequest)

Deletes the specified EBS volume. The volume must be in the available state (not attached to an instance).

The volume can remain in the deleting state for several minutes.

For .NET Core this operation is only available in asynchronous form. Please refer to DeleteVolumeAsync.

request: Type: Amazon.EC2.Model.DeleteVolumeRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteVolume service method.

The response from the DeleteVolume service method, as returned by EC2.

This example deletes an available volume with the volume ID of ``vol-049df61146c4d7901``. If the command succeeds, no output is returned.
