Container for the parameters to the AssociateApplicationStatusCheck operation. Associates an application status check with instances or tags. Once you create an association, health monitoring automatically begins for the specified instances or for instances that match the specified tags. The following rules apply:

Inheritance Hierarchy

System.Object
  Amazon.Runtime.AmazonWebServiceRequest
    Amazon.EC2.AmazonEC2Request
      Amazon.EC2.Model.AssociateApplicationStatusCheckRequest

Namespace: Amazon.EC2.Model
Assembly: AWSSDK.EC2.dll
Version: 3.x.y.z

Syntax

C#
public class AssociateApplicationStatusCheckRequest : AmazonEC2Request
         IAmazonWebServiceRequest

The AssociateApplicationStatusCheckRequest type exposes the following members

Constructors

Properties

NameTypeDescription
Public Property ApplicationStatusCheckId System.String

Gets and sets the property ApplicationStatusCheckId.

The ID of the application status check to associate.

Public Property ClientToken System.String

Gets and sets the property ClientToken.

Unique, case-sensitive identifier that you provide to ensure the idempotency of the request. For more information, see Ensuring idempotency.

Public Property DryRun System.Nullable<System.Boolean>

Gets and sets the property DryRun.

Checks whether you have the required permissions for the operation, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.

Public Property InstanceIds System.Collections.Generic.List<System.String>

Gets and sets the property InstanceIds.

The IDs of the instances to associate with the application status check.

Starting with version 4 of the SDK this property will default to null. If no data for this property is returned from the service the property will also be null. This was changed to improve performance and allow the SDK and caller to distinguish between a property not set or a property being empty to clear out a value. To retain the previous SDK behavior set the AWSConfigs.InitializeCollections static property to true.

Public Property TargetTagAssociations System.Collections.Generic.List<Amazon.EC2.Model.CustomTagKeyValueRequestPair>

Gets and sets the property TargetTagAssociations.

The tags to associate the application status check with. Each tag is a key-value pair. When you associate tags, the application status check automatically monitors all instances that have the specified tags.

Examples

This example associates an application status check with instances matching the specified tag.

To associate an application status check with tags

var client = new AmazonEC2Client();
var response = client.AssociateApplicationStatusCheck(new AssociateApplicationStatusCheckRequest
{
    ApplicationStatusCheckId = "asc-0123456789abcdef0",
    TargetTagAssociations = new List<CustomTagKeyValueRequestPair> {
        new CustomTagKeyValueRequestPair {
            Key = "env",
            Value = "prod"
        }
    }
});

List<SuccessfulAssociationResponseObject> successfulResults = response.SuccessfulResults;
List<UnsuccessfulAssociationResponseObject> unsuccessfulResults = response.UnsuccessfulResults;
