# DeleteEmailIdentity

Deletes an email identity. An identity can be either an email address or a domain name.

The request uses the following URI parameters.

The identity (that is, the email address or domain) to delete.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1.  
Required: Yes

The request does not have a request body.

HTTP Status Code: 404

 ** TooManyRequestsException **   
Too many requests have been made to the operation.  
HTTP Status Code: 429
